
Jesse Plourde
ROLE: Tully Jesse is excited to be making his La Comedia debut. From Newburyport, Massachusetts, Jesse has actively been involved in the arts his whole life, and has acted professionally for the last seven years. Notable credits include Melchior Gabor in Spring Awakening, Christopher Boone in Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, and Laurie in Little Women at the University of Pikeville. Jesse has also appeared in Hairspray and Footloose at Jenny Wiley Theatre, Brad Majors in Paramount Arts Center’s The Rocky Horror Show, and as Daryl Ames in Bright Star, Sam Phillips in Million Dollar Quartet, and in Little Women, reprising the role of Laurie at Mountain Movers Theatre Company. He thanks his family and friends for all of their love and support – in particular, his mother, Cheryl Ann Plourde. Jesse hopes you enjoy the show.

Claire McPartland
ROLE: Rachel Claire is thrilled to be returning to Ohio to make her La Comedia debut. Originally from Minneapolis, Claire earned a B.A. in drama from Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, and is now based in NYC. Beyond Kenyon, Claire trained at The British American Dramatic Academy and Fordham University. Recent credits include Paint Your Wagon (Jackson Hole Playhouse) and the world premiere of Sofia Alvarez’s KILL CORP (The Warehouse Theatre). Claire sends endless thanks to her vocal coach/mentor Aimée Steele and lots of love to her mom, dad, Maxwell, and Sully.

Kyle McIntire
ROLE: Brick Kyle is excited to be making his La Comedia debut and is thrilled to be joining the island with this incredible cast and creative team. Growing up on the stage, he never had any doubt that theater was what he was meant to do. As a recent graduate of the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Kyle moved to New York City to pursue his career in musical theater. Some of his favorite roles from the past include Mark in Rent, Floyd Collins in Floyd Collins and Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors. He would like to thank all of his family back home in Massachusetts and friends back in NYC for the continued support and encouragement. Follow your dreams and never give up!

Sydney McQueen Fieseler
ROLE: Tammy Sydney is so excited to be back in Ohio for her first production at La Comedia. She is originally from Cleveland but is now located in NYC. Most recently, Sydney made her Off-Broadway debut in Frankenstein at The Players Theatre in New York and fulfilled a childhood dream of playing Carrie Pipperidge in Carousel. She would not be here without the abundant love and support of her family, with special thanks to her grandmother Jackie, whose favorite was of course, a margarita. Enjoy!

Ryan Book
ROLE: Ensemble Ryan is from the Toledo area and is happy to be making his La Comedia debut. Ryan graduated with a degree in musical theatre from Ohio Northern University in 2021. Since then, he’s worked at many Cedar Fair parks including Valleyfair, Carowinds, and California’s Great America. He has also played Action in West Side Story with Danrie Productions. Ryan really loves resorts and beach life, so he worked as a singer/dancer with Iberostar Resorts and RWS Entertainment Group in the Riviera Maya, so Escape to Margaritaville reminds him of his beloved resort days. Finally, he would like to thank his parents and his sister, Makenna, for their love and support.

Allison Gabert
ROLE: Ensemble Allison is a graduate of Northern Kentucky University with a B.F.A. in theatre performance and returns after appearing as Beth in Little Women, Judy Haynes in White Christmas, Virginia in Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up?, Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Babette in Beauty and the Beast, Zaneeta Shinn in The Music Man, and Wendy Jo in Footloose. Some of her favorite roles include Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda: The Musical, Eponine in Les Misérables and Little Red in Into the Woods. She has choreographed for several youth musical theatre productions and NKU dance shows. She thanks her friends and family for their endless support.

Mitch Holland
ROLE: Ensemble Mitch is thrilled to make his La Comedia debut. A recent graduate of Webster University, his favorite roles include Anthony Marston in And Then There Were None, Billy in Anything Goes, and Jerry in The Zoo Story. Mitch would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support.

Nicole Korbisch
ROLE: Marley Nicole is happy to be making her La Comedia debut. Wisconsin-born Nicole Korbisch has over a decade of professional credits spanning across the United States. Dually-based in NYC and The Twin Cities, Nicole regularly performs in musicals, plays, operas, and in improv troupes. When not on stage, you can find Nicole directing and teaching across multiple mediums. Some favorite roles have included Cathy in The Last Five Years tour, Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show, Pattie in Smokey Joe’s Cafe, and Sister Robert in Anne in Nunsense.

Jake McCutcheon
ROLE: Chadd/Ensemble Jake is an NYC-based actor originally from Collierville, TN. National Tour: Dad u/s in CoComelon Live! NYC: The Wave (World Premiere). Regional: Charlie Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Edmund in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Theme Park: Busch Gardens Williamsburg (Oom-Pah Band, Celtic Fyre). Jake is a proud graduate of Indiana University’s B.F.A. Musical Theatre program. He’d like to thank his parents for preparing him for this moment by filling his childhood car rides with the music of Jimmy Buffett.

Jonathan Pendergrass
ROLE: Jamie/Ensemble Jonathan returns to La Comedia having last appeared as Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. His previous La Comedia credits include Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Tommy Djilas in The Music Man, Footloose, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Mamma Mia!, and Annie, as well as our Lunch and Learn Children’s Theatre productions of Charlotte’s Web, Frederick: The Mouse and The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley. Lexus Philistine
ROLE: Ensemble Lexus is a New York native who began her training at the Alvin Ailey School at the young age of five. She has continued her training at Point Park University where she received a B.F.A. in dance in the Spring of 2022. Lexus has been blessed to work with such a diverse set of artists in her years of training. She is excited to be making her debut with La Comedia and thanks her family and friends who have always supported her in her journey.

Mark Reuter
ROLE: J.D. Mark is happy to be making his 27th appearance on the LaComedia stage. Some of his favorite roles here include Uncle Billy in It’s A Wonderful Life, Jean Shepard (adult “Ralphie,” the narrator) in A Christmas Story: The Musical, and Santa Claus in Elf: The Musical. He has also appeared elsewhere as Max in The Sound of Music, Rooster in Annie, Ben Weatherstaff in Secret Garden, and The Tin Man in The Wizard of Oz. And yes, if you are wondering if that old man who took you to your table and/or carved your meat on the buffet looks familiar, it’s because Mark also works as a host and on the buffet line. Mark would like to thank his family and his friends for being so supportive of him over the years and for encouraging his love of performing and to thank God for giving him the opportunity to continue to do so.

Meghan Slowik
ROLE: Ensemble Meghan is excited to be returning to La Comedia for her third performance. Her previous credits include Phantom and The Music Man. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, she is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s in piano performance. She was in a professional children’s choir for 10 years, performed at both Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and was in the Florida Touring Choir for Josh Groban’s “Stages” tour. She has been in several operas, including Turandot, Suor Angelica, and Blind Injustice with the Cincinnati Opera. She has also been working at the Ohio Renaissance Festival as a singer, actress, and music director for the Singing Sirens since 2021.

Jordan Ward
ROLE: Ensemble Jordan is excited to be returning to the La Comedia stage after appearing as Eleanor in Footloose. She is a recent graduate of Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester in NYC, with an emphasis in musical theatre and contemporary/jazz. Recent credits include: Ensemble in Kiss Me Kate, Pas De Deux Partner/Ensemble in On The Town, and Geminae in Funny Thing…Forum. She wants to thank her family for their constant love and support.
