Mallory Georgia Marie
ROLE: Cindy Lou Mallory is on cloud nine to be back on the La Comedia stage. She has been seen in this theatre since she was 10 years old in shows such as Ariel in Footloose, Marianne in Disaster!, Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web, Miss Nelson in Miss Nelson Goes Missing, Ring of Fire, All Shook Up and many others. She has also performed at Kings Island in shows such as Retrospect, Cool Yule, 70s on Demand and others. Mallory is a songwriter, demo singer and you can hear her sing on audio books for Dolly Parton and Tim McGraw or with bands in the Cincinnati area. Carly Shepherd
ROLE: Suzy Carly is excited to join the La Comedia family. She was recently seen in Newark, Ohio, at Weathervane Playhouse as Deb in Elf: The Musical and as Edna in Bright Star with Cincinnati Landmark Productions. Other credits include Trish in Kinky Boots, Lady Merril in Once Upon a Mattress, Deathtrap, and Barefoot in the Park with Wathervane Playhouse; Mary Martin of Tours in Sister Act with Cincinnati Landmark Productions; The Baroness in The Sound of Music and The Wizard of Oz with Paul Green’s Trumpet in the Land outdoor drama. When Carly is not performing on stage, she is in preschools and elementary schools training children in basic ballet, jazz, and hip hop dance with WEBBY Dance Company. She hopes you enjoy the show.
Meghan Slowik
ROLE: Betty Jean Meghan is excited to be returning to La Comedia after appearing in Miracle on 34th Street, and as Punky Olander in Grumpy Old Men: The Musical, Escape to Margaritaville, Phantom and The Music Man. A native of Jacksonville, Florida, she is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a bachelor’s in piano performance. She was in a professional children’s choir for 10 years, performed at both Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and was in the Florida Touring Choir for Josh Groban’s “Stages” tour. She has been in several operas, including Turandot, Suor Angelica, and Blind Injustice with the Cincinnati Opera.
Emmie Wright
ROLE: Missy Emmie is delighted to return to La Comedia after recently appearing as Cinderella in Cinderella. Some of her other recent credits include Luisa in The Fantasticks, Rapunzel in Into the Woods, and Emily Webb in Our Town. She originated the role of Catherine in Ciao Bambino: The Musical at the 13th Street Repertory Theater in NYC. In addition to performing live theatre, Emmie enjoys all aspects of movie production and is co-owner of the production company Ophelia Grey Films. She is also a board member for the nonprofit organization The Melanie and Rosalie Albright Foundation. Emmie has a fantastic support group and would like to thank her family and friends for their love and continued support of her theatrical endeavors. Special thanks to her cat, Maggie, who puts up with all her “disappearances” but is always ready with snuggles and purrs when she returns. Romans 12:12.
